Fig Jam and Goat Cheese Crostini


Put an oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Cut a French baguette into 1/2-inch slices. Brush with olive oil, arrange on a baking sheet, and bake for 15 min. Switch the oven to broiler setting and broil for 1 or 2 more minutes.

Let the crostini cool, then spread with fig jam and top with crumbled goat cheese. Arrange on a serving platter and sprinkle with some sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
