- 6 pieces thinly sliced chicken breast
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper
- Vegetable oil
Pound the chicken on both sides. Crack the egg, add the milk, salt and pepper and lightly beat the mixture. In a separate dish combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Arrange your breading station. Dip a piece of chicken in the flour, then in the egg mixture, then in the flour again. Shake off any excess flour. Fry until golden and crisp on one side, then flip to the other side. When done, place on paper towels to absorb any excess fat.
Serve with a side salad, potatoes or in a sandwich. I served it with a side of home fries and pickles here.
